SOCCER: England bring in James, Spence and Rogers, Argentina make one change

ATLANTA — England manager Thomas Tuchel made three changes to his starting lineup for Wednesday's FIFA World Cup semifinal against Argentina, while Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni made one adjustment to his side.

Reece James returned at right back after starting England's first two group-stage matches, while Djed Spence replaced Nico O'Reilly at left back. Morgan Rogers also came into the starting lineup, replacing Noni Madueke on the wing.

Argentina made one change from the team that started its previous two matches, with Giuliano Simeone replacing Rodrigo De Paul.

The winner of the semifinal will face Spain in the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday.

England: Jordan Pickford; Reece James, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Djed Spence; Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Morgan Rogers; Harry Kane, Anthony Gordon.
