SOCCER: Al Nassr fans celebrate league title win on Riyadh streets

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace to help Al Nassr clinch the Saudi Pro League title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Damac on the final day of the season, with Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman also on the scoresheet Thursday (May 21) for Jorge Jesus's side.

The win saw Al Nassr finish on 86 points, two clear of rivals Al Hilal, who won 1-0 at Al Fayha, but were left to settle for second place.

The triumph marks Al Nassr's first league crown since 2019 and the first piece of major silverware for Ronaldo at the club he joined in late 2022.

The title triumph sparked celebrations with Al Nassr fans taking to the streets of Riyadh just past midnight on Friday (May 22) morning.
