Al Ittihad secured a 3-1 victory over Neom on Wednesday (December 31) to move up to fifth place in the Saudi Pro League.
The match was level at halftime after Roger scored for Neom, followed by an equalizer from Said Benrahma for the hosts. Dutch winger Steven Bergwijn gave Al Ittihad the lead in the 68th minute, and Ahmed Al Ghamdi sealed the win in stoppage time.
With the victory, Al Ittihad climbed to fifth in the league standings with 20 points from 11 matches, recording six wins, two draws, and three losses. Neom remain in seventh place, three points behind.
