Texas forward Dailyn Swain has announced that he plans to enter the 2026 NBA Draft.
Swain joined Texas this season to play under head coach Sean Miller, who also coached him at Xavier.
“Cincinnati to Austin … what a ride,” Swain wrote on his Instagram page Tuesday, sharing the news of his decision.
Players have until May 27 to decide whether to remain in the draft or return to college. This decision comes after several on-court pro scouting events and the NBA combine in May.
Swain was named an All-SEC selection for the 2025-26 season. He averaged 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game for Texas.
Standing 6-foot-8, Swain is known for his versatility on defense, capable of guarding multiple positions. He shot 34.4% from beyond the arc and primarily scored as a slasher.
The 20-year-old enters the NBA draft process with a first-round projection.
