Scottie Barnes sank the game-winning free throw in the final second of overtime, helping the Toronto Raptors edge the visiting Philadelphia 76ers 116-115 on Sunday in the first game of a back-to-back series.


The 76ers held a four-point lead in overtime before the Raptors rallied with a 7-0 run. Collin Murray-Boyles’ dunk put Toronto ahead by three with 35 seconds left, but Philadelphia’s VJ Edgecombe hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 115 before Barnes sealed the win at the line.


Barnes led Toronto with 31 points, while Jamal Shead contributed 22, including the basket that forced overtime. Immanuel Quickley added 20 points, and Murray-Boyles finished with 17 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks, and three steals. Tyrese Maxey scored 38 points for the 76ers, with Edgecombe adding 17 and Kelly Oubre Jr. chipping in 13 points, three blocks, and four steals. Dominick Barlow and Quentin Grimes each scored 13 points for Philadelphia.


Timberwolves 104, Spurs 103

Anthony Edwards scored 23 points on 10-for-21 shooting as Minnesota rallied to defeat San Antonio at home. Donte DiVincenzo added 19 points, and Naz Reid posted a double-double off the bench with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Timberwolves erased a 19-point deficit to take the lead in the final minutes. Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 29 points and seven rebounds, while Keldon Johnson and Julian Champagnie scored 15 and 14 points, respectively.


Grizzlies 103, Nets 98

Memphis scored the final 13 points of the game to overcome an eight-point deficit with three minutes remaining and defeat Brooklyn. Rookie Cedric Coward led the Grizzlies with 21 points and eight rebounds. Jock Landale added 16 points and nine rebounds, Santi Aldama scored 15 points with eight boards, and Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 14 points. Cam Spencer finished with a career-high-tying 13 assists. The Nets were led by Noah Clowney and Tyrese Martin with 17 points each.


Nuggets 108, Bucks 104

Aaron Gordon hit two free throws with 4.4 seconds left, giving Denver a narrow win over Milwaukee. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Nuggets with 25 points off the bench, Peyton Watson added 19, Zeke Nnaji recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Jalen Pickett scored 13. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 31 points and 11 assists for the Bucks, with Myles Turner adding 16 and AJ Green and Bobby Portis scoring 14 each.


Hawks 124, Warriors 111

Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored a team-high 24 points as Atlanta dominated Golden State on the road. Luke Kennard added a season-high 22 points, hitting five 3-pointers during a key third-to-fourth quarter run. New additions CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert made their Hawks debuts, contributing 12 and two points, respectively. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 31 points for the Warriors, with Jimmy Butler III adding 30.


Magic 128, Pelicans 118

Desmond Bane scored 27 points and Anthony Black added 26 to lead Orlando past New Orleans. Goga Bitadze recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Paolo Banchero added 23 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, while Tristan da Silva contributed 16 off the bench. Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 22 points, with Trey Murphy III and Jordan Poole scoring 21 each.


Knicks 123, Trail Blazers 114

Jalen Brunson posted 26 points and eight assists as New York defeated Portland. OG Anunoby scored 24 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns had a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double. Portland was paced by Deni Avdija’s 25 points, Shaedon Sharpe’s 23, and Caleb Love’s 21, including five 3-pointers.


Thunder 124, Heat 112

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 29 points in a win over Miami. Jalen Williams scored 18, Chet Holmgren recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Ajay Mitchell added 16. Andrew Wiggins led the Heat with 23 points, while Tyler Herro and Pelle Larsson scored 19 and 16, respectively. Miami was without leading scorer Norman Powell due to back soreness.


Suns 112, Wizards 93

Royce O’Neale scored a season-high 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers, as Phoenix routed Washington. Devin Booker added 17 points, Dillon Brooks scored 16, Grayson Allen 12, and Mark Williams 11 points with seven rebounds. Washington was led by Alex Sarr with 19 points and 15 rebounds.


Kings 111, Rockets 98

DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points, leading six Sacramento players in double figures as the Kings snapped a seven-game losing streak with a win over Houston. Zach LaVine added 18 points, Russell Westbrook 15 points and 10 assists, Malik Monk 15, Maxime Raynaud 12, and Precious Achiuwa 10. Rookie Dylan Cardwell posted career highs with nine points and 11 rebounds. Amen Thompson led Houston with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, while Kevin Durant added 23 points and Alperen Sengun 19.
