Yemen's southern separatists say leader al-Zubaidi is in Aden

Yemen’s southern separatists said on Wednesday that their leader, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, is in Aden overseeing military and security operations in the city. This statement comes after a Saudi-led coalition in Yemen reported that al-Zubaidi had fled to an unknown location.

The separatists also said they have lost contact with their delegation in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, adding to the confusion over the leader’s whereabouts.
