Senator Dela Rosa's camp turns over 20 firearms to PNP

The camp of Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa surrendered to the Philippine National Police 20 firearms registered in his name. The address in the registration is in Barangay Ma-a in Davao City.

The firearms were registered in the name of the senator at his address in Barangay Ma-a in Davao City.

The legal representative of Dela Rosa surrendered the firearms to the PNP Regional Civil Security Unit in Region 11.

On May 27, the PNP revoked the firearms licenses of Dela Rosa, who is facing an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The order was issued by the PNP Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO).

Under the FEO order, 117 firearms registered under Dela Rosa’s name must be immediately confiscated or deposited with the FEO or the Regional Civil Security Unit 11 for proper disposition in accordance with the law.

The ICC issued a warrant of arrest for dela Rosa in connection with the crimes against humanity case involving former president Rodrigo Duterte over the alleged extrajudicial killings during the so-called war on drugs.
