President Marcos: Agreements reached in meeting with Thailand and Cambodia

CEBU, Philippines - Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr said that "some agreements" had been reached between Thailand and Cambodia on Thursday, adding that he had confidence that the two countries could resolve their issues amicably.

Speaking at a press briefing with the premiers of Thailand and Cambodia, Marcos said both countries stressed the importance of restraint and peaceful dialogue.

"I believe this was possible because of a very clear, fervent belief by both leaders that it is time for peace and no longer a time for war," Marcos said.
