Several officials of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) have submitted their courtesy resignations following recent changes in the agency's leadership.
However, Press Officer Claire Castro will remain in her post to serve as Malacañang's chief spokesperson.
PCO Acting Secretary Lino Cayetano clarified that submitting courtesy resignations is a standard procedure, allowing incoming leadership to evaluate appointments and determine which officials will be retained.
Castro is expected to continue leading official media briefings and managing Malacañang communications throughout the agency's leadership transition.
