Palace debunks fake social media posts, insists President Marcos is 'doing well'

Malacañang has officially dismissed social media rumors regarding the health of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., clarifying that he is in good condition and actively performing his duties.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro confirmed that the President remains engaged in his official functions, citing his participation in scheduled events—such as today's oath-taking ceremony for vice mayors—as evidence of his well-being.

"Maaayos po siya,” Castro said, pointing to the list of the President’s scheduled engagements.

Castro urged the public to rely on credible mainstream media rather than unverified social media posts.

“Tayo naman po ay mainstream media, siguro mas mangingibabaw dapat ang mainstream media kaysa sa mga socmed na walang basehan, so huwag po tayo masyadong maniwala", she said.

"Maayos po siya. Mamaya po maaari ninyo po sigurong malaman at baka kayo ay maimbitahan sa oath-taking mamaya po," she added.

The Palace reiterated that the President remains focused on his leadership responsibilities, particularly in addressing national challenges related to global oil prices and the ongoing Middle East crisis.

He is expected to continue with his full schedule of official engagements in the coming days.
