Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos Jr. addressed the United Nations General Assembly on March 10, 2026. In his speech, Marcos pushed for the Philippines' bid to secure a seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), saying the move would allow the country to take part in key decisions involving global peace and security.
