Germany urges North Korea to stop missile launches

The German foreign ministry said on Thursday it urged North Korea to refrain from further missile launches and to end its programmes for the development of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.

"We strongly urge North Korea to refrain from further missile launches, to comply with its obligations under international law, and to put an end to its programmes for the development of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles," the ministry wrote on the social media platform X.
