China condemns the U.S. seizure of foreign vessels as a violation of international law, reaffirming Venezuela’s right to maintain relations with other countries, a foreign ministry spokesperson said.

BEIJING - China’s foreign ministry on Monday said the United States’ arbitrary seizure of ships belonging to another country is a serious violation of international law and stressed that China opposes all unilateral and illegal sanctions.
