Speaking at the World Economic Forum, California Governor Gavin Newsom said the Trump administration blocked his appearance at the official U.S. venue in Davos. Newsom accused the White House of censorship after his event was cancelled following Trump’s speech.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, an outspoken Democratic critic of Donald Trump, criticized the U.S. President during his interview at the World Economic Forum on Thursday (January 22) after he said he was blocked from speaking at an event in the official U.S. venue in Davos the night before.
Newsom accused the White House of interfering with his planned event on Wednesday (January 21) at the USA House, saying California was denied despite “last we checked, California is part of USA.”
The governor said on Thursday his appearance at the U.S. venue was cancelled following Trump’s speech, accusing the U.S. President of censorship.
