Offering panoramic views of a wide valley and an open desert, Saudi Arabia’s Jebel Fihrayn, is known as the Edge of the World.
Attracting local and foreign visitors, the cliff rises about 1,131 metres at the end of the Tuwaiq mountain range, which stretches for roughly 800 kilometres.
Tour organiser Mohammed Asif said the cliff was best known for its sunrise and sunset views.
Tourist Rehmat Basheer, making his second trip to the site, said the spot was calm, peaceful and worth the drive for anyone living in or passing through the capital.
Saudi tourism authority advises visitors to travel in groups, take a four-wheel-drive vehicle, carry their own supplies and wear hiking shoes.
