“New Gen Superstar” Belle Mariano is raring to join veteran singers Bituin Escalante, Tirso Cruz III, and Christian Bautista as special guests in Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz’s upcoming concert, “Goin’ Standard The Repeat,” on October 10, 2026, at the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell Center, Makati City.

Recently, Mortiz, 72, announced the star-studded lineup for his headline show. The veteran actor, singer, and television director will be joined by Escalante, Cruz, Bautista, and Mariano, who is the youngest among the special guest performers.

In a social media post, Mortiz shared photos and behind-the-scenes moments with his guests, including photos from their rehearsals.

“Eto na ang mga bigating makakasama ko sa repeat!” he wrote,  naming all of his special guests.

He also invited his followers to watch the show, writing, “Kita kita tayo sa October 10, 7 pm, sa Proscenium Theater.”

The announcement drew enthusiastic response from Mariano’s fans, many of whom left messages of support in the comments section.

“Thank you in advance po for making Belle a part of this milestone. Cheers to more years in the industry!” one fan wrote.

“Congrats po Direk. Good luck also to our dear Belle,” another fan said. Another simply commented, “something to look forward to.”

Mortiz previously staged the inaugural “Goin’ Standard” concert last June 13 at the same venue.

The concert is a nod to Mortiz’s 2024 album, "Goin’ Standard," an eight-track collection of classic vocal standards and covers famously performed by Frank Sinatra. The album includes songs such as “You and Me (We Wanted It All),” “You Turned My World Around,” and “You Will Be My Music.”

A "Tawag ng Tanghalan" champion in 1967, Mortiz has spent decades in the entertainment industry as a singer and television director. He is known for songs such as “My Pledge of Love” and “Alaalang Nagbabalik” and for directing popular shows including “Luv U,” “Happy ToGetHer,” and “Goin’ Bulilit.”

It was on "Goin’ Bulilit" that Mortiz and Mariano, 24, first worked together. Mariano joined the popular children gag show in 2012 and remained part of its cast until 2015.

Since then, Mariano has established herself as a young actress and performer, rising to prominence through the hit teen series "He’s Into Her" and various romance and drama projects, most recently "Tayo Sa Wakas" alongside her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan.

She is also a singer, having launched her music career with her 2021 debut single “Sigurado” and becoming known for tracks such as “Tanging Dahilan,” “Bugambilya,” and “Like U.”

Her upcoming appearance in “Goin’ Standard The Repeat” reunites her with Mortiz years after their time on "Goin’ Bulilit," while giving her the chance to share the stage with respected veteran performers.

Tickets for the show are available through the TicketWorld website.
