Bea Alonzo birthday video rekindles pregnancy rumors

Bea Alonzo is once again the subject of pregnancy rumors after a video from her recent birthday celebration caught the attention of netizens, with some speculating that the actress and businesswoman may be expecting.

Bea turned 39 last Saturday, October 17, with many fans taking to the comments section of a video uploaded on Instagram by her fan page.

Amid the birthday greetings of her fans, some netizens wondered whether she was pregnant, with a few interpreting how they see her appearance.

“Buntis ba si Bea? Yung mukha niya parang buntis,” one netizen commented. Another wrote, “She looks pregnant I can tell by the nose.”

“Bakit hindi nagpapakita ng tiyan si idol,” another netizen asked, prompting someone else to reply, “She’s not yet pregnant.”

Meanwhile, other viewers commented that Bea looked "blooming" in the video.

The clip showed Bea celebrating her birthday with her husband, businessman Vincent Co, alongside friends and loved ones. 

In one part of the video, Bea was seen blowing out the candles on her birthday cake while Vincent held it for her. The clip also captured candid moments of the couple like when they were walking out of the venue, Bea can be seen holding on to Vincent’s arm.

Last year, similar rumors circulated online after a photo of the actress and Vincent went viral. Seeing a photo from Bea's birthday party organized by her staff, some netizens thought she was pregnant. To them, she appeared to be covering her stomach with a bouquet of flowers.

Bea quickly shot down the rumors, taking to Instagram to clarify that she was not expecting a baby. “For anyone curious about 'the picture' — just caught at a bad angle after an amazing dinner. Glowing, not expecting,” she wrote at the time.

As of this writing, Bea has yet to issue a statement addressing the latest pregnancy rumors.

Bea confirmed her relationship with Vincent in August last year. The couple later tied the knot in an intimate civil wedding ceremony officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay on July 13.
