President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney visited a Jollibee branch on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver in Canada.
After their official engagements at the Vancouver Convention Center, the two leaders visited the store to place an order, interact with staff and customers, and pose with the Jollibee mascot.
This visit highlights Jollibee’s growing global presence and its significance to the Filipino community in Canada, a report of the Philippine News Agency said.
Opened in March 2022, this branch was the first in Vancouver and remains a popular destination for both Filipinos and foreign nationals.
The visit provided a moment of international visibility for the food chain and showcased a familiar taste of home for the Filipino community in Canada, PNA said.
