Ukraine's foreign minister says Russia fired over 500 drones, missiles overnight
Russia launched a massive overnight assault on Ukraine, striking with 450 drones and over 60 missiles targeting the country’s energy infrastructure, despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Russia attacked Ukraine with 450 drones and over 60 missiles overnight, Ukraine's foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said on Tuesday, adding that Moscow waited for temperatures to drop before attacking Ukraine's energy system.
"Neither anticipated diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week nor his promises to the United States kept him from continuing terror against ordinary people in the harshest winter," Sybiha wrote on X.
