UK Maritime Trade Operations receives a report of an incident east of UAE's Fujairah

A vessel 7 nautical miles east of Fujairah, UAE, was hit by an unknown projectile, causing hull damage, though the crew remained safe with no fire or water ingress, according to UK Maritime Trade Operations.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations said it received a report of an incident 7 nautical miles east of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.


The master of a vessel reported that it was struck by an unknown projectile causing damage to the steel plating, UKMTO said. The crew was reported safe and with no fire on the vessel or water intake.
