Ethiopian Airlines cancels flights to Tigray region as tensions rise

Ethiopian Airlines cancelled flights to the northern region of Tigray on Thursday, an airline official told Reuters, as tensions rise between the federal government and regional authorities.

"As of today, all flights have been cancelled," the official told Reuters. He did not give a reason for the cancellation.
