DAKAR – The number of confirmed Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo has risen to 1,333, with 399 reported deaths, according to government data released on Tuesday.
Health authorities said the cases have been recorded across the eastern provinces of Ituri, North Kivu, and South Kivu, regions that have previously experienced recurring outbreaks of the disease.
