The 38-year-old Serbian superstar has previously targeted defending his title at the LA 2028 Olympics, but says that his passion for the sport could mean he delays retirement even after that event .
Djokovic, currently world number four and without a Grand Slam title since 2023, has been somewhat usurped by the modern rivalry of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, but says that he loves to test himself against younger generations .
Djokovic was speaking during a visit to Dubai where earlier he was awarded the Globe Sportsman of the Year by fellow sporting icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
