Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain and is expected to miss at least three weeks, according to multiple reports.

Zubac sustained the injury during the first half of the Clippers’ 103-88 victory over the rival Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. He was seen hobbling off the court and did not return after heading to the locker room.

Zubac has been durable in recent years, missing little time due to injury. He appeared in 80 of a possible 82 games during the 2024–25 season and has played more than 70 games in five of the past six campaigns.

Through 28 games this season, all starts, Zubac is averaging 15.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He earned All-Defensive Second Team honors last season, highlighted by a career-high average of 12.6 rebounds per contest.
